The install on a computer running Vista was easy and quick. The auto and manual controls work better than I expected. The picture quality was much sharper that the image produced by my older camera (Creative did not update the software for that camera to run on Vista machines so I needed to purchase a new camera)

Easy to install; recognized immediately by PC. Base is not as configurable as a Microsoft VX-5000, but is acceptable. Picture is excellent; auto-color balance is very good. Works flawlessly with Skype. Highly recommended.

My mother purchased this webcam for me, my sister, herself, and my grandparents for Christmas. I live out of state and my sister will be going abroad this semester for college.
These webcams are wonderful for staying in touch. They have a great picture, a very good microphone, and funny avatars!
It's easy enough that my grandparents have no trouble using it.

We got this web cam for inlaws who are not really computer savvy but wanted to better communicate with parents in another state. I'm not a computer genius, either, but installation was easy and fast plus picture quality was reported as excellent by recipients. I have received skype calls from others with cheaper cameras and although picture quality was ok I was happy to hear that this one provided great quality. I doubt if all the features of this item will ever be used but so far everyone skyping with it is very happy. Pricier than most but you get what you pay for in this case in my opinion.

I bought 3 of these cameras to keep my family connected since we are spread across the country (Hawaii, California, Colorado, West Virginia). The camera was amazingly easy for everyone to install and it works great with Skype. My sister already had a webcam, but after seeing some of the features work on this camera she is thinking about getting one too.
